You did it! There are few feelings that are greater in our lives than that of an accomplishment such as the one you just did. Beating a personal best time is so awesome, you proved something to yourself. You're young after all!

Maybe next year you make the entire run with a bag of Doritos in your hand to get good laughs all the way!
Here in Minneapolis we have a similar run, the Twin Cities Marathon, and one guy did the run with this huge American flag in his hands. He got lots of cheers as he ran, because that thing must've weighed 20 pounds easily, maybe more. I wish I had a picture of that!
I'm impressed with anyone who can run more than me, which is about a block; after which I collapse and whine about how old I am.
