Those are such beautiful trees. If the "tulip poplar" is the same kind of poplar that we have here. We call the ones here "poplar" and they grow to a huge size especially along our creeks and rivers. They have mottled white and gray bark.

I have thought about doing this to something, like a bug or a bear but we don't have bears and the bugs are not very cooperative and none ever come back for me to take a second shot.

My favorite is the last photo with the trees reaching up into the blue sky. Looks like they have little arms moving about.
