Donna did a good job getting this photo of the male Ruby-throated hummingbird.

I wish we had them this year. We got the food out but no birds. That bothers me a lot because we do not have the honey bees and only one bumblebee this year has been seen.

Something is happening and I hope poison has not got to hummers who drink the same nectar in flowers that had been poisoned over the years with insecticide use.

It is a wonderful photograph and I have enjoyed seeing it wondering what people think when they press the shutter?

Thanks for your visit to my blog and for the comment there. I do my best to repay visits with visits and comments with comments. I like to be somebody you can count on.

We had a house full of company and celebrated two birthdays yesterday so I ate too many sweets, got sleepy and didn't get around to anybody.

Hummingbirds have been swarming our feeder this year. It's great evening entertainment. Guess they really enjoy "Schroff Brew"

We also have a Blue Bird family who have taken up residence in our back yard.

nice shot, Donna. So hard to catch any bird, let alone one that moves so quickly!
