Gimme Swelter

Alex tuning his guitar. There's Alex, son of my girlfriend, earring buddy (despite the disapproval of his mother) , guitar hero, tuning his ax before the show at the School of Rock best in show concert out in the middle of nowhere on a hot hot afternoon in the middle of New Jersey.
Alex on stage."War, Children, it's just a shout away... "
Alex and his mom after the concert. How Rock and Roll can it be if your mother is there to give you thumbs up, but Alex pulled it off. As did all the other kids that day. A great show!

These are nice photos, Dan. I like the thumbs up picture too. Double thumbs up no less.

Cool. Although not everyone likes to admit it, the thumbs up from Mom is always welcome. :)

He definitely looks like a rock n roller despite the thumbs up from Mom!

He's to be commended for performing outside on a day like we had this weekend. That's devotion to his music! Love the photos, especially the first one. And the one of his Mom giving the thumbs up is so sweet!

I like the first shot the best, where you can see all that rocker hair. So cool!!
He is a definite rocker and I do believe that the longer hair is coming back soon! I mean, look at the current styles, are they not
70's? So the 80's are sure to follow!!
So good to be back online and see your blog :)
