I can never get enough of flower photos. Those ruffly yellow petals are just gorgeous. Nature is amazing!
I am not that fond of marigolds, but this is an excellent photo of one!
This is a pretty flower. I like it.
To comment on your comment about sitting still and the chipmunk coming up to your toes.
They will do that. Also some will run up your trouser leg if they suddenly get frightened. That itself is a frightening experience.
They will take peanuts out of your hand too. I try to not get too familiar with them for their own sake -- should they leave here and end up somewhere else.
