These are really nice bushes. I used to have the big variety and tried to trim them into boxes and balls and things like that. And I did. That really screwed them up royally. I think to look best they just have to be left alone to grow those long limbs that arch over, covered with yellow blossoms, touching the ground. Right now, I have two or three miniature ones and have started several others from them. They are nothing like the big ones but do bloom in yellow and are about 12 inches tall.
Forsythia, celandine, daffodils, dandelions. All the first blooms are yellow. I wonder why.
