You are right. Gold finches on top but the sparrow looks like a "white-throated" sparrow on the bottom. If it was a larger picture I could say for certain. My eyes are almost 74 years old and don't see small things like they used too.

ReplyDeleteOnce again, you are right -- according to my Peterson Guide, that is a white-throated sparrow.
And I probably shouldn't have called him fat. It appears that they are just shaped that way. Fortunately, I'm pretty sure sparrows don't read my blog.
